Move, Think, Wonder with Foun Tang & Ingrid Zimmer
Saturday, January 20, 12:30-3:30 pm
Smithsonian American Art Museum

How can movement inform our thinking? Participants will be taught dance structures in order to choreograph short performances that will make their thinking visible to others. This workshop will culminate in creating a “moving sculpture garden” together.

Using Japanese Paper Cutting to Reveal and Conceal with Mara Wilson

George Washington University’s ArtReach studio at THEARC

Explore Japanese Kiri-e paper cutting techniques and experiment with creating a rotational symmetry block printing and extending to create a 3-color reduction print.
